InLine Infusion Catheter
Use with the InLine Port for Dependable Long-term Patency
This 18 Gauge Nylon Infusion catheter is provided with a insertion stylette and an introducer needle for needleless accessing of the InLine Port.
Using the Infusion Catheter
Insert the Trocar Needle into the port septum so that the needle enters the outlet pin. Remove and discard the needle leaving the introducer sheath in place.
Insert the infusion catheter through the sheath and into the vessel catheter.
Slide the infusion catheter in so that it extends beyond the vessel catheter.
Remove the sheath and attach the infusion source/luer stub adaptor.
Advantages:
